Each area is unique and has different foods, bars, hangout spots, green spaces, and people. Visit the famous Navy Pier, the beach is always excellent in the summer, fantastic riverboat rides, awesome sports teams, diverse neighborhoods, fabulous rooftop bars, and great restaurants to try out. Safe to say you'll never be bored in Chicago. It's easy to access many different communities and cultures that might not be available in smaller towns. You can be in Rogers Park during the day and get to an evening Sox game in under an hour, so you never miss a beat.

Chicago is famous for its rich history and contribution to some of the most incredible American music—blues, jazz, and gospel. The musical roots of Chicago date back to the beginning of the 20th century, which was dominated by artists Muddy Waters, Thomas A. Dorsey, Benny Goodman, and the entertainer who epitomized jazz, Louis Armstrong. It is also the home to The Second City Theater, sketch comedy improvisation, which opened in 1959. It has since become one of the most influential and prolific comedy theatres in the world.
